'Shark Tank': How To Buy Duzter Cut-Resistant Hockey Apparel

Fans of Shark Tank often find themselves wanting to buy the items they see onscreen. One product set to appear on the show are Duzter’s cut-resistant hockey apparel, which seeks to make a game on the ice safer for players. Notably, the brand already has some prominent customers.

The Duzter Founders Have A Background In Both Manufacturing & Hockey

Duzter is a company based in Maryland that sells hockey protective gear. It was founded by a father and son, Martin Negron, Sr. and Jr., back in 2022. Based in Annapolis, Duzter’s specialty is cut-resistant compression apparel that protect wearers from blade injuries.

Notably, the creators have some background in hockey. The younger Martin was a youth hockey player in Annapolis, who saw a teammate suffer a skating injury firsthand. At the time, he felt there weren’t base-layer shirts that could protect both the arm and neck areas.

Martin and his father then decided to make such gear themselves. Notably, the older Martin had more than 25 years of experience as a production and manufacturing engineer.

Duzter was officially launched by 2022. Through it, the father and son introduced their first line of cut-resistant compression shirts and pants meant for hockey players.

Professional Players Have Even Used Duzter Products

The signature Duzter compression shirt was created with an integrated cut-resistant neck guard with cut-proof sleeves. The pants are also said to allow mobility with offering protection.

Another issue for the father and son was that their items were affordable. After all, the products were created with youth hockey players in mind.

That said, the company has branched out to targeting their items to older players as well. This includes a Pro line of shirts and pants for junior and adult players.

Notably, the items have earned an official safety certification, as they were cleared by the National Hockey League for us in its games. This means professional players could also use the items on the ice. In addition, the products are said to be developed with feedback from NHL and AHL professionals.

In fact, the items have already made an impression on professional players. Players of the Henderson Silver Knights have used Duzter’s undershirts during games. According to Shark Tank Products, the Negrons shared the experience of seeing professional athletes use their items was “Surreal…When we go to a game and we know that one of the players is wearing something that we created.”

Duzter Items Are Available In The United States & The United Kingdom

With 2025, the Negrons also shared that they have patent applications for their protective apparel designs. They are also working on items aimed for goaltenders.

Notably, the items are also scheduled to appear on Shark Tank on March 21, 2025. This will serve as the fourteenth episode of Season 16.
