When the new season of Married at First Sight in Chicago first got underway, Michelle Tomblin was seen by viewers as an early villain. At her wedding, she was already complaining about her new husband, David Trimble, and she hated the fact that he still lived with his parents.
Over the course of these two getting to know each other, Married at First Sight fans called Michelle out for being condescending and overly critical of David. She regularly called him out for the way he dressed, and for many of the things he did and didn’t do. Early on, viewers realized that these two were not a good match for the long haul.

These same qualities that turned viewers against her eventually endeared her to fans, as she was relentless once she had a feeling that something was “off,” and, as Married at First Sight fans eventually saw once David and Madison came clean about their attraction, Michelle’s gut was correct all along, and her nitpicking the smallest details ended up coming in clutch in this situation.
Married At First Sight Fans Rave About Michelle Tomblin’s Stunning Weight Loss
Comparing the Married at First Sight Season 18 weddings to the reunion, many viewers noticed that Michelle Tomblin has dropped a lot of weight in between, and many took the time to praise her for all of her efforts, as they have clearly paid off.
Some MAFS fans even joked that it was easy for Michelle to shed the dead weight once she cut David out of her life. With this drastic change in appearance from Michelle, viewers had plenty to say about it recently, and the results speak for themselves.
