Shortly after college, the Napiers decided to move to Erin’s hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. Ben became a youth minister, and Erin became a graphic designer. The couple purchased a 1925 Craftsman cottage and renovated it into their dream home. They utilized social media to share the renovation process with their fans. This, of course, got the attention of producers at HGTV, who enjoyed the Napiers’ personalities and thought they would be good for their network. The Napiers have been on several shows with HGTV. However, their current show, Home Town Takeover, is in its third season. Ben and Erin also have three retail stores, various books, and a furniture line.
The Napiers’ Focus On Rules For Success
Ben and Erin Napier have been in a successful relationship now for two decades. Erin has said that Ben is a seriously romantic guy. She said, “He’s extremely married to the philosophy that every day, you should do something to make your spouse fall in love with you again.” Erin shared that Ben really outdid himself this Valentine’s Day. He hired a private chef for a backyard feast and even set the yard up with moody decor. Erin explained that she was sick with COVID-19, but Ben made sure to make her feel special.

The couple ensures that they always maintain an open line of communication. Ben says, “Erin and I always say communication is a key element in a happy marriage.” Open communication helps the Napiers maintain a healthy relationship with one another.

Ben and Erin also rely heavily on mutual trust in one another, and Ben says this “goes hand in hand with communication.” The couple also practice appreciation of the little things, from Erin making Ben’s coffee to Ben leaving love notes around the house. The Napiers make sure they show their love in the little ways. In addition to showing love in little moments, the Napiers show their love for one another through big romantic gestures.
The Napiers say that they also show up for one another. If someone is getting an award or has a big job, the other makes sure to fully support their spouse. Ben and Erin have also said that they like to get creative with their date ideas. They try not to stick to the same things over and over.
