Wendy Williams, who is trying desperately to get her life back, was just seen enjoying time out in New York City. She has started speaking out regarding her guardianship trials and tribulations. Now, she is trying to live her best life regardless of her struggles. Keep reading for further details.
Wendy Williams Seen Enjoying Time Out In NYC
The last three years have been anything but easy for Wendy Williams. She was placed under court-appointed guardianship as she appeared to be struggling. The former talk show host was then diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). This became the subject of a Lifetime documentary but some believed it was exploitative. Wendy was seen at her absolute lowest point in her life and it was hard to watch knowing her struggles. Eventually, she was placed in a memory care facility but she now maintains she does not need to be there.
Wendy has stated that the dementia diagnosis was wrong and that she is perfectly fine. More so, she wants her guardian removed as well as the judge presiding over her case. Wendy did a pre-recorded interview with The View and co-host, Sunny Hostin fiercely defended her. Even the staff at the facility believes she is fine. Now, she is stepping out in New York City and she seems to be having the best time. She was not walking but rather on a scooter wearing a fur-fringed coat and boots. Her highlighted hair was parted down the middle and she was glowing.

Wendy Williams was in good spirits as she headed to dinner. She made her stop at the Pendry Hotel in Hudson Yards. Although this seems like a step in the right direction, Sunny Hostin noted that Wendy can not leave her facility without prior approval from her guardian. It has also been pointed out that Wendy did go to Miami to see her father. However, the guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, gave her an empty credit card.
She’s Doing Well Throughout It All
Wendy Williams is doing absolutely everything she can to prove that she is competent on her own. She did admit that the guardianship was not a bad thing when it first began as she wanted someone to oversee her money. Now, the time has come for it to end and she will do whatever it takes to show she can be free. Wendy spoke to TMZ for a documentary airing on Tubi. This sheds a new light on her, showing she was lucid and fans want her immediately freed. After seeing her out on the town in NYC, were fans thrilled she was going and doing?
