According to People, Williams recently had an outing in New York City. She could be seen at Tucci, an Italian restaurant in New York City’s NoHo neighborhood, this past Saturday.

This was notably days after Williams’ trip to a hospital, in which the star was escorted out of a facility by police. While there, she notably aced competency test.

Williams could be seen smiling as she used a motorized scooter to reach the restaurant. She was also seen wearing a fur-trim coat. She also appeared to have a bag reading, “NYC High Maintenance.”

Notably, Williams was joined by her niece, Alex Finnie. The outing was notable as it is a rare outing for the former talk show host, who has often compared her life at the Coterie to a prison.

As previously reported, Finnie had recently gotten in trouble with the Coterie after she took her aunt out to eat earlier this month. Reportedly, the facility contacted the New York Police Department and had even filed a police report.

The event also comes out as Williams made a return to daytime television with a pre-taped interview on The View. She was notably joined by her caregiver Ginalisa Monterroso. During the appearance, Williams said, “How dare they say I have incapacitation. I do not!”

During the appearance, Williams also shed light on her hospital visit. As she shared, she had “a little angina” and “just needed a breath of fresh air.”

“I needed to see the doctors. So that’s why I went to the hospital. “And then, while I was at the hospital, I also got blood drawn for my thyroid, you know? But most importantly, being at the hospital, it was my choice to get an independent evaluation on my incapacitation, which I don’t have it.”

In addition, Williams also discussed her earlier dinner with her niece. She shared, “I thought it was great, at first! Alex and the boyfriend, they flew from Miami to New York. They got me at the hospital.”

“With permission from the guardian, of course, we left the hospital by [ambulance] and we stayed here [at the facility] for, I don’t know, about an hour because we knew that we were going out just to celebrate, you know, life.”
