Bachelorette Trista Sutter Weighs In On Pause
This will reportedly be the first time in fifteen years that The Bachelorette has not aired. Normally, the show would start filming almost immediately after The Bachelor finale airs. However, that won’t be happening this year.
The network announced that the show is taking a pause. In previous interviews, Jesse Palmer has said that it’s not the end of the series, they are just skipping a season. Many are disappointed that the show will not be airing. However, Bachelor in Paradise will be filming after it skipped last summer. There are also rumors that The Golden Bachelor will be filming Season 2 this year as well.
Fans are disappointed that they will not see The Bachelorette. Even Trista Sutter is sharing her thoughts on it. Parade spoke with Sutter and shared what she had to say. Trista shared her thoughts as a former lead and also a fan of the show. She said,
“Honestly, it’s hard because I am part of it, but I also am a viewer, and we all have our perspectives. We can all say, ‘Oh, you should do this, you should do that.’ “Who knows what’s right. I think that it’s stuck around for almost 25 years now, and whatever they’re doing, it’s working, obviously, so they know the magic sauce.”
Trista went on to say that she’s involved with the show but also isn’t. She said she’s a fan and always will be. She continued saying whether or not it all comes to an end next year or continues for another twenty five, she will always be a fan and support it.

Charity Lawson Also Shared Thoughts On The Pause
Former Bachelorette Charity Lawson also weighed in on the show’s shocking pause. She said she and Dotun will always have a special place in their hearts for the show because it is so closely woven into their love story.

As for her and Dotun, they are edging closer to deciding on a wedding date. They assured fans it will be happening.

As the news came out about the show taking a pause, it was also revealed that many producers were stepping down from their jobs. It seems as though they are looking to change a lot of things. Bachelor in Paradise has a new showrunner. Everyone is curious to see how things go as this person has never worked with The Bachelor franchise.
