Christina Applegate Put In Hospital Over 30 Times For MS Symptom
Famed actress, Christina Applegate recently shared that she has been hospitalized more than 30 times due to some multiple sclerosis symptoms. She has been very candid about how much her life has changed since her MS diagnosis. Now, she is opening up about repetitive hospital visits. Keep reading for further details.

It has not been an easy road for Christina Applegate. She has struggled with her health for many years and it keeps getting worse. In 2008, she found out that she had breast cancer which was a hard pill to swallow but she handled it with dignity and grace. She was no stranger to this cancer as her mother had battled it and survived, as well. It was found in one of Christina’s breasts but she opted for a double mastectomy. After that, she was seemingly doing okay until 2021. That was when she shared her multiple sclerosis diagnosis.
She actually had it for seven years before she was properly diagnosed. Christina struggled to walk and gained weight as a result but she remained incredibly beloved. She appeared at the 2024 Emmy Awards and received a standing ovation. Of course, she joked that everyone was mocking her by standing up. Now, she is sharing more from her journey, explaining she had been in the hospital more than 30 times. This was due to MS symptoms that caused her to struggle more than she already was. She shared all of the details on her MeSsy podcast that she co-hosts with Sopranos star, Jamie Lynn Sigler.

Christina Applegate explained when she has to go number two, it causes her to throw up. Therefore, she believes it is all tied to her MS. Unfortunately, her doctors are not as convinced. She has undergone a bevy of tests to solve the issue and now, she has a colonoscopy coming up. Thanks to a follower’s letter, she will ensure that she gets the answers she needs or at least push for them. This all came up after a listener wrote in to say they were experiencing these issues and Christina could relate.

For years, Christina Applegate has been a fan favorite. Now, they love her more if that is possible. Her candid approach to her MS has won people over as they relate and feel compassion.
