However, this last week, she appeared on The View in a telephone interview. This was the first televised interview on a major show. This also means it is the first time a lot of people have heard Wendy talk in a long time.

In the interview, Wendy Williams spoke about a variety of topics. She talked about her alcohol relapse and her desire not to drink again. Wendy talked about her guardianship and why she feels it is wrong. She dismissed the medical diagnosis. She even spoke to Sunny Hostin about how proud she was of her rise after appearing on Wendy’s own show years ago.
It was the same as Wendy sounded in all her interviews. Her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, has claimed that Wendy is mentally incapacitated and is getting worse. Every single interview she has conducted tells an opposite story. This has many fans concerned.

Wendy Williams is busy fighting for her freedom. She recently went to the hospital and was given a cognitive evaluation, which she passed, according to reports (via PEOPLE). However, her guardian claims Williams is getting worse, despite her recent interviews suggesting otherwise.

Williams did tell the ladies on The View that she wants a new lawyer, a new guardian, and a judge who can actually relate to her. She said that neither her guardian nor the judge had anything in common with her and were not qualified to judge her.
