It’s not immediately clear which of the children share fathers. After a recent social media update, Amanda Halterman confirmed that she and Chris Combs indeed share a biological father. On top of that, she even shared photos with her audience.

1000-Lb Sisters Star Amanda Halterman Reveals Her Biological Father
On 1000-Lb Sisters, fans have watched the siblings touch on their childhood troubles from time to time. In the early days of the show, Tammy and Amy even tearfully spoke about how it caused their food addictions. They often ate to comfort themselves after dealing with pain and strife.
In a new social media update, Amanda Halterman confirmed that she and her biological father weren’t on the best of terms. However, she acknowledged that she came from him and wanted her fans to see him.
“Chris Combs this is our biological father. He is no longer here and we did not have a relationship with him but without him there would be no us,” Amanda captioned a recent Instagram post, tagging her older brother.

The slideshow features several photos of their biological father from his youth. A few photos even feature a young Chris and Amanda spending time with him. It’s not immediately clear what happened to sour their relationship.
Perhaps in time, the 1000-Lb Sisters star will open up.
