‘Bachelor’ Lauren Luyendyk Opens Up About Conceiving 4th Child

Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his wife, Lauren, thought they were done having kids after welcoming twins in 2021. They went to drastic measures to ensure she wouldn’t get pregnant. Then they changed their minds. The couple isn’t done having kids yet. She opened up about conceiving their fourth child. Keep reading for all the details.
Bachelor Star Reverses Vasectomy
Arie and Lauren Luyendyk have three children; Alessi, 5, and twins Senna and Lux, 2. They welcomed the twins in 2021 and decided their family was complete. They were so sure that Arie had a vasectomy in 2022.
But then they both started having baby fever. In a shocking decision, they announced last month that the reality star had the procedure reversed and they were trying for another baby.

Lauren Luyendyk Reveals How Long It Took To Get Pregnant
Just weeks after announcing they were trying for another baby, the popular Bachelor couple announced that Lauren was pregnant. They are expecting baby number four in September. She opened up her Instagram DMs to answer questions from fans about the impending arrival.
While it may seem she got pregnant quickly, that wasn’t the case. The time between the vasectomy reversal announcement and the pregnancy reveal wasn’t long. But it seems Arie had the procedure a while before they clued the public in. Lauren shared on social media that it took them four months to conceive their fourth child.

She was also asked how this pregnancy compares to her previous ones. The Bachelor alum revealed that she was finally feeling better after battling nausea from the pregnancy and a bout of food poisoning that sent her to the hospital. She said she is more nauseous with this pregnancy than the previous ones.
Shares Her Thoughts On Baby Names
Arie and Lauren Luyendyk have yet to find out if their fourth child is a boy or a girl. She told her followers that they would be happy with either and just want a happy and healthy baby.
As for baby names, she said that they are “80% sure” of a name, but she has a long list of backup names. Lauren plans to share the complete baby name list with her fans after they choose a name.

Does She Plan A Home Birth?
Lauren Luyendyk had a c-section with her twins. She said ahead of the delivery that she was scared of surgery. When asked how she prefers to give birth to her fourth child, she recalled how her daughter, Alessi, was born.
According to bachelornation.com, she said, “Personally I loved my birth with Alessi (natural + epidural) more because it was just fun.” The reality star continued, “I know that sounds odd, but Arie and I got to do it together and I also got to hold Alessi right away.”
She confirmed again that the c-section was scary. But again, as long as the baby is happy and healthy, any type of delivery is fine with her.
