Wendy Williams ‘Goes Off’ On ‘The View,’ Blasts Judge

Wendy Williams made an appearance on the Friday, March 14th episode of The View and she blasted the judge watching over her case. More so, she slammed others involved in her case and did not hold anything back. So, what did the former talk show host have to say? Keep reading for further details.
Wendy Williams ‘Goes Off’ On The View
It was a big day for Wendy Williams as she returned to television on the popular but often controversial daytime talk show, The View. She has been battling for her freedom for some time now. It has been an immense struggle given that she has been under a court-appointed guardianship since 2022. Sabrina Morrissey has been in charge of her affairs and life which has not been presented well. Wendy has been in a memory care facility as she was previously diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. This was the subject of a Lifetime documentary.

It was controversial and some felt exploitative as Wendy was extremely vulnerable and looked ill. However, she has since claimed she does not have dementia and does not belong in a memory care facility. There, she cannot leave her room unaccompanied and it is like being held hostage. She is desperate to get a new lawyer and have her guardianship revoked. Not only did she speak with TMZ for a new documentary but she pre-recorded an interview with The View ladies. Yet, Wendy held nothing back and went completely off on anyone she felt had done her wrong.

Via the telephone, Wendy Williams and her advocate, Ginalisa Monterroso opened up about what was going on. She noted that if her guardianship cannot be revoked, she wants someone to replace Sabrina. Plus, she would like a new judge overseeing the case. Although Judge Lisa Sokoloff deemed Wendy incapacitated, the former talk show host is disputing that:
“How dare they say I have incapacitation. I do not.”
She went on to go off about Sabrina and Judge Sokoloff’s interactions with her:
“I’ve been doing important things all of my life and these two people don’t look like me. They don’t talk like me. They don’t act like me. They will never be me. I need them to get off my neck!!!”
Sobered Up
Wendy Williams also talked about her past with alcohol and claimed she is happily sober. She also added that the props from her iconic talk show are in storage. However, she is not allowed to go there and see them so that is very hard. As excited as fans were to see her on The View, they did not care about how the interview went down. Yet, this did want her to be free and felt Sunny Hostin could help:
- They hyped this appearance up so much only to have a phone interview. FREE WENDY ❤️
- Wendy had a drug and alcohol problem and a couple of medical issues but she is OK now free her
- Sunny need to help her legally. I bet sunny will get this done quick.
- She may need help, but isolating her from friends and family is cruel.
