‘RHOC’ Tamra Judge Abruptly Exits Midseason
Tamra Judge announced her abrupt departure from RHOC while the show was in the midst of filming Season 19. The cast was allegedly on a trip to New Orleans when this happened but how did she break the news and what was her reasoning? Keep reading for more details.
Tamra Judge Abruptly Exits Midseason
She branded herself the “hottest housewife” in the OC when Tamra Judge joined RHOC in Season 3. From the moment she came onto the scene, she made a splash, sometimes good and other times, very bad. Tamra never held her tongue or her wine and that could be to her detriment. Yet, she was very open with her life and the struggles she faced. In Season 5, she and her husband, Simon Barney reached the end of the rope leading Tamra to demand a divorce. They had three kids together, Sidney, Spencer, and Sophia while she had an adult son from a previous relationship.
She then moved on with Eddie Judge and they ultimately landed a wedding special. Aside from her romantic relationships, it was her up-and-down close friendship with OG, Vicki Gunvalson that also became a hot topic. Things heated up even more in her relationships when Shannon Beador joined in Season 9 and, along with Vicki, they became the ‘Tres Amigas.’ However, it was always riddled with drama and by Season 14, Tamra was let go from the hit Bravo series. She was welcomed back for Season 17 and now it appears that she has said goodbye once again.
Tamra Judge announced she was done with RHOC via social media. She did not elaborate but simply said:
- IT WAS A LONG RUN! WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU REAL PROBLEMS THIS REALITY SH*T DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. PEACE OUT. IM OUT
It is unclear what transpired during their cast trip but it was drastic enough for her to exit. Initially, it was cryptic so one social media forum asked this:
- The cast is currently in New Orleans on their cast trip. 🎥🍊 Is Tamra quitting?? #RHOC
To that, Tamra simply responded: “Yes!!!”
She’s Gone
After Tamra Judge announced she had exited, fans and followers immediately chimed in with what they believed went wrong. Keep in mind that she was not wanted back by viewers after the way she played dirty in Season 18. However, the whole cast was set to return alongside show alum, Gretchen Rossi, who left after Season 8. She was brought back as a friend and it has been alleged she could have been part of the problem:
- I bet Gretchen is trying to hold her accountable for all of the stuff that’s happened over the years
It seems many RHOC viewers were happy that Tamra left and even mocked the way she said goodbye:

- She’s looking for attention as per usual. Byeeee
- She could dish it, but can’t take it!!!🤣
- Stay off tv and focus on your mental health.
There were some who were sad about this development. They also wondered if her close friend and podcast co-host, Teddi Mellencamp’s current cancer struggle had anything to do with this. It will be interesting to see if she comes back or at least attends the reunion.
