Wendy Williams Reaches Out To New Attorney To End Nightmare
Wendy Williams recently went to Florida to visit her dad for his birthday. This gave fans a chance to see Wendy out in public, and it showed that she might not be as incapacitated as her guardians have claimed. It seems that Wendy is seeking a new attorney to help her achieve her freedom.

Wendy Williams Seeking New Attorney For Court Case
Wendy Williams still wants out of the nursing home where she was placed, locked in, and kept away from her friends and family. From the sound of it, Wendy plans to go full-on in the court case as she seeks her freedom from the conservatorship the courts placed her under.
Wendy has hired Joe Tacopina. He is an American criminal defense lawyer, media personality, and professional sports executive. When asked about Tacopina, Sean Hannity said he was one of “the greatest attorneys of all time” (via The New York Times).
He has represented former MLB star Alex Rodriguez, Michael Jackson, A$AP Rocky, Meek Mill, former Washington Commanders owner Daniel Snyder, and the suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. He was more importantly also President Donald Trump’s attorney in the New York criminal case against Stormy Daniels and the rape claim from E. Jean Carroll.
Tacopina spoke about the case on the 2 Angry Men podcast with Harvey Levin from TMZ. He said that Wendy reached out to him to represent her in the case, and he wasn’t sure about taking the job.
Joe Tacopina Is ‘Outraged’ About Wendy Williams Case
However, Joe said he watched Saving Wendy, the TMZ Tubi documentary and was “outraged.” He said that it is an injustice, and he said “murderers have more freedom than Wendy.” Harvey also got a text while interviewing Joe with a link to a Vanity Fair article that interviewed Wendy’s guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.
In the article, Sabrina said, “Nobody’s saying that Wendy can’t leave a building.” This made Harvey angry, even though she has made two trips to Florida since she was put there (once for her dad and once for her son’s college graduation). However, Wendy said in the documentary that she was only allowed outdoors twice in the last 30 days. One was for a dentist appointment.
Harvey talked to Joe about his past cases. One of the big ones surrounded him, representing A$AP Rocky. With Joe by his side, he won a not-guilty verdict in the case. Joe and Mark also talked a lot about Diddy’s case. He said that the prosecutors have a lot of holes they need to fill in for a guilty verdict.
Joe did not confirm if he was going to represent Wendy in the case. However, he seems to believe that she could get freed with the right attorney.
