Courts found Florida woman Casey Anthony not guilty of the 2008 murder of her daughter, Caylee Anthony. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean Anthony escaped the court of public opinion unscathed.

Since her 2011 acquittal, many have pointed fingers at Anthony, insinuating she escaped punishment for her horrific deeds. Fourteen years later, she just wants to move on with her life.

In a surprising turn of events, Casey Anthony has created a TikTok account where she hopes to spread awareness about her new career moves.

In her new TikTok, Anthony attempts to “reintroduce herself” to the public and gives her mission statement.

“I am a legal advocate, I am a researcher. I’ve been in the legal field since 2011 and in this capacity, I feel that it’s necessary that if I’m going to continue to operate as appropriately as a legal advocate that I start to advocate for myself and also advocate for my daughter,” Anthony tells her audience.

“For those of you who don’t know, my name is Casey Anthony,” she continues. “My daughter is Caylee Anthony. My parents are George and Cindy Anthony. This is not about them. This is not in response to anything that they have said or done. That’s not to say that I’m not going to respond to some of the things they have said and done. The whole point of this is for me to reintroduce myself. I’m doing this both personally, for me, but in a professional capacity.”

The 38-year-old goes on to say that her ultimate goal is to provide a voice to those whom the justice system failed. She offers to provide resources to those in need, specifically women and the LGBTQ+ community.

The 38-Year-Old Invites The Public To Follow Her Accounts

Over on Substack, Anthony gives followers insight into her personal beliefs.

“The presumption of innocence is a sacred right afforded to ALL individuals arrested in this country,” she penned on her Substack account. “That is not an opinion, it is a fact. We are plagued by a rush to judgment before someone even steps foot into a courtroom. Once a verdict is read, however long the process takes, the public must trust that the system worked the way it was intended.”
