‘The View’ Ugly Fights Behind Scenes, Joy Behar Teases Memoir
How ugly and vicious does The View get behind the scenes and will Joy Behar tell-all in an upcoming memoir? It is no secret that the women can come to blows, leading hosts to exit for their own sanity. Now, the ladies are questioning how awful they can be, not just to guests but to each other. The View Ladies Compared To Housewives?
What was supposed to be a show about smart women from different backgrounds sharing their opinions has morphed into something completely different. The hosts of The View can be combative with one another and have been accused of shutting each other down. Recently, there were claims that Alyssa Farrah Griffin was being constantly cut off, no matter what she tried to say. Others felt that she would monopolize the conversations and there was no real peace. Viewers have struggled with the ladies over the last few seasons and are ready for the show to end:

Despite the hatred that gets thrown, the show is well into Season 28 and is showing no signs of slowing down. Whoopi Goldberg takes Fridays off while Joy Behar is off on Mondays. They try to create an even and fair balance between opinions but it does not always work. Fights can break out and, according to Decider, a question arose about the ladies being like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In a recent episode of the hit Bravo reality series, Sutton Stracke attempted to knock Dorit Kemsley down.

She did so by saying: “pick on somebody else whose wallet fits.” That prompted Joy to ask this:
“My question for the Real Housewives of The View is the following: Is making fun of someone’s financial situation below the belt?”
Joy then wondered if The View co-hosts had ever gone that low after noting she had been on the show for twenty-six years. Alyssa wanted to know if she meant with others or each other but Joy meant within the group, who all said no. That did not seem to suffice.
Saving It For The Memoir?
Joy Behar did not believe her co-hosts and was still pressing them. She seemed to want The View ladies to air their grievances which they struggled to do. Finally, Sara Haines was honest and admitted that maybe it had happened and they had gone low like the RHOBH cast. Guest star, Ariana DeBose did not seem convinced and she let the audience know this. That made everyone chuckle and eventually, Joy gave it up. However, she did note that she would have a platform to spill all of the juicy tea. She smirked and said:
“I have the right to write a memoir, too.”
Joy has lived a very colorful life but she has also been known to be cruel to her co-hosts. Meghan McCain was very honest about her issues with Joy and how her attitude was extremely hurtful. Yet, she has also maintained that she has a lot of respect for the comedian. It will be interesting to see what The View hosts will spill when they are no longer under contract and at the table.
