‘Young & Restless’ Mishael Morgan Shocks With New Hair Color
Actress Mishael Morgan is best known for her work on The Young and the Restless. However, the actress recently shared a whole new look with fans on social media. Wanting to share the experience with fans, many commented on their own experiences, especially after she asked for advice.
The Young & The Restless Fans Know Mishael Morgan As Hilary Curtis & Amanda Sinclair
Morgan first joined the cast of The Young and the Restless back in 2013 as Hilary Curtis. Initially leaving in 2018, however, she would later return to the soap, appearing as the character, Amanda Sinclair, appearing as recently as 2024.
Recently, however, Morgan wanted to share a whole new look with fans. As she noted, “I’ve never colored my hair before. Not once.”
The accompanying video showed Morgan coloring her hair before the big reveal. Setting down to the big reveal, the clip featured Cillian Murphy’s Tommy Shelby’s famous line, “3…2…1…Bang!,” from the period crime drama Peaky Blinders.
As Morgan continued, “It might seem like a small thing, but for me, it wasn’t. It was the back-and-forth, the doubt, the ‘should I, shouldn’t I?’ that felt bigger than just picking a shade. This was virgin hair—untouched, a part of me that had never been changed.”
“And maybe that’s why it took so long. Because sometimes, it’s not just about hair. It’s about identity, about comfort, about the parts of ourselves we hold onto without even realizing why.”
“But today, I let go. I took the leap. And somewhere between the hesitation and the excitement, I found something freeing.”
The Actress Wanted Fans To Share Their Own Experiences, & They Delivered
Morgan really wanted to get fans involved with her new look. Calling to fans, she asked, “What small, seemingly simple everyday decision have you found yourself in deep contemplation over?”
The fans took the call and sent in their responses. In fact, Morgan herself thanked these fans for their comments. As she wrote, “Thank you all so much for the kind comments, especially since it was such a emotional decision for me I appreciate you all!”
Many fans shared their own experiences with changing their hair. Others commented on how they enjoyed watching Morgan on The Young and the Restless. Some comments included:
