Rachael Ray Released The First Episode Of ‘I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead’ This Past October

As a television personality, Ray is known for hosting a variety of television shows, notably for the Food Network. In addition, she also hosted her own namesake syndicated talk show, The Rachael Ray Show, from 2006 to 2023.

The first episode came out in October 2024. However, the series has been on quite a break since this past early December.

Recently, however, Ray spoke with People while at the 2025 South Beach Wine & Food Festival. As she shared, “I never had the format on daytime to do long format with people I truly respect and care about.”

Ray compared the differences between hosting a television series versus a podcast. As she noted, “I like introducing people to new people, people that are new to my life.”

“But I also reintroducing them to people I already love and respect. And being able to expand and expound on what I wish I had the time to do in formats I couldn’t do it in before.”

Ray noted that the podcast also naturally gives her more time with guests. She continued, “I had people on that are celebrated actors and people that I have known for a real long time. But that I never got to spend more than four or five minutes with. It’s amazing.”

Ray Hinted That There Was Already More To Come

As the publication noted, podcast episodes used to air weekly until a December episode. However, Ray revealed this wasn’t due to a lack of episodes.

As the star explained, “I beat all of my team up about it all the time.” She explained, “I’ve already done several that haven’t been released yet. The challenge is waiting for their asses to put it on air.”

Ray assured fans who are still eager for more episodes that she’s on their team. She noted, “I’m pissed at how long it takes them to put it up. That’s all I’m pissed at.”

That said, Ray also keeps busy with events, like the aforementioned 2025 South Beach Wine & Food Festival. She noted, “I love the concept of asking the world’s greatest chefs to come and put their work on a bun.”

“I come here because I love the kids and pushing all of their lives forward. For over 20 years, I come here out of loyalty. I think that’s a big part of life.”
