“And that’s when your muscles get so tight that you then, you can no longer walk. You can no longer move, then your heart will stop beating because your heart is a muscle and it gets too tight to beat, and then you die.”
A Specialist Had Another Opinion Of What Was Causing Devine’s Chronic Pain
As his condition appeared to get worse, Devine explained he went to a specialist. While there, he received a second opinion, saying that his health issues were simply the result of his childhood accident.
As the actor noted, “And he’s like, ‘You don’t have it. You do not have it.’ He’s like, ‘This is from your accident, from when you were a child. The spasms are a little unexplainable, but it could just be you got so tight that your body doesn’t know what to do with it. So, you’re misfiring a little bit.”
The actor also noted that he’s been feeling better, attributing this to stretches and stem cell treatments. Devine also noted that he had also received hip surgeries as he was initially told his condition was related to hip issues.
