Tonight on February 18, 2025, fans are looking for a new episode of The Curse Of Oak Island, but it isn’t on tonight. What is going on with this History Channel show and why is it missing from the lineup?
Why Is There No New Episode Tonight?
Monday was President’s Day and since The Curse of Oak Island airs on the History Channel it won’t be on tonight. Instead, they have decided to do shows based on President’s Day. At 6 p.m. 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., they are airing a show about Thomas Jefferson. That will be what you can see tonight and that is why you are missing out on your favorite show.
What Is Going On This Season Of The Curse Of Oak Island?
This season they are trying to find treasure once again. It is the 12th season of the show and they haven’t even really found very much yet, which shocks fans. Just recently, it seemed like they found an outhouse and thought that it was a treasure. Fans are really hoping that they are going to find some good clues and lead to real treasure before the show is over this season.
A lot of fans have given up on this show because of them not finding anything. It feels a bit fake and forced and they would like to see a real big treasure found, but it just isn’t happening. Maybe they will get lucky and something will end up being discovered. It would be great if the show was able to find treasure and not just seem like a cursed place that can’t find anything.

wait all week to watch just to get disappointed that it is not on thanks for the heads up on this history channel I could of stayed at work
This is only show I watch every Tuesday. I am disappointed that it wasn’t on tonight. I do hope and pray they find the treasure this season. I have been so invested in this show. I don’t plan anything on Tuesday nights. I love the whole crew!

Extremely Stupid! Yesterday was the Holiday… why do that tonight? And the commercials for the Oak Island Show are super annoying… do the math! It’s literally like only 26 minutes of an actual episode! And also all the repeating statements every episode for over a decade is super annoying! They are literally wasting like 9 minutes per episode repeating the same things over and over like the object findings history related to what they are about to talk about, and science scanning actions etc. I’m basically done watching until I see online that they found the treasure .

I agree. Whoever edits this program needs some help. It would much easier to watch people working and talking than listening to the guy repeating himself a 100 times. Apparently the guy offering the repeated commentary likes to hear himself talk.
The “person” talking throughout the show seems like it’s actually a digital voice transcription. There are literally ZERO human sounding voice “changes” it sounds too “robotic”
I’ve been saying that since season 1. I thought once Drilling Down was airing that there would be a lot less filler?!? The producers need to put on more action less talking.
maybe the curse should move to another channel. this is so WRONG to change TONIGHT.
They should of showed the other show on presidents day….monday.

We are disappointed and are thinking of quiting this show. It’s on too late anyway. Show is getting more boring by the year, watched since the beginning.
It’s because they don’t have anything to show! It’s been like that for the last 5 years. I record the show so I can blow through all of the rerun scenes from the previous week and commercials. I can watch that whole 1 hour show in 10-15 minutes. Getting to be pure garbage.
I keep waiting for the Fellowship of the Dig to toss the narrator into the money pit, sacrificing that loud-mouth fool so the hard working team can finally find the treasure!

i have just discovered the answer to why the show was not aired and have read sll the comments related to the show. i agree 100 percent to the fans. i have been watching for many years and the show is getting annoying. The narrator should be fired for one thing. He doesn’t have to re-introduce every character for every scene like we don”t know who they are. His voice litetally puts you to sleep. The show is making millions from the sponsors otherwise they would be out of business. Something had got to give. I can’t take this much longer. I don’t want to see another lolly gagler again.
After not being able to watch the show I thought they had found the treasure or someone died but both had been so close to the taping and wouldn’t have time to do the show. So they put the Jefferson show on. I was almost happy we wouldn’t have to watxh it much longer. Not impressed anymore!
We wait all week for this show. It is interesting to see how they analyze their findings. Don’t mind they haven’t found a lot of gold yet. The search is the object of interest for me.
stay out of the stupid war room do some real work! I like the show but there is way to much talking and explaining. I know work is one of those dirty four letter words.
