Wayne Brady Offers To Marry Contestants On ‘Let’s Make A Deal’
Wayne Brady made two players on Let’s Make a Deal an offer they couldn’t turn down. Brady has a license to conduct wedding ceremonies and made an offer to two lovebirds who appeared on a recent episode of his popular game show. The couple already had wedding designs, and Wayne just helped them push things up.

Wayne Brady Offers To Marry Two Players
Valentine’s Day just passed, and Wayne Brady hosted an episode of Let’s Make a Deal in which the audience dressed up for the holiday. When he saw two contestants, Ian Champana and Natalie Ball, that he realized were in love, he stepped up for them. He offered to officiate their wedding on the spot.
Wayne explained he was licensed as a marriage official. “I am legally qualified to marry people. I’ve married people on the show before,” Wayne said. “Just for fun. I’m just playing right now.” However, he said he could perform the wedding “right now.”
Natalie seemed excited, and Ian seemed ready for it as well. Let’s Make a Deal producer Chris Ahearn brought over a ring he had on him. Wayne checked to see if it was real, and Wayne said they hadn’t planned this. “This was just us talking, and all of a sudden, we’ve talked two young people into a future,” Wayne said.
Wayne then started to sing to the couple and got things started.
Wayne Brady Officiates Wedding
“It’s a game show, but who knows what will happen. Who knows?” Wayne sang. He then told Ian to drop to his knee and propose, so he did. When Natalie accepted the proposal, Ian said he wasn’t expecting this.
Wayne then asked if they “were down” to spending the rest of their lives together, and they said they were. “Well, by the authority vested in me by the State of California, I, Wayne Brady, hereby pronounce Ian Champana and Natalie Ball as man and wife. You may kiss the bride!” he said. He finished by saying it was crazy.

- “She put the ring on the wrong hand. And why didn’t she kiss him? Shy?”
- “I saw it !! It was so spontaneous and sweet.”
- “To bad they didn’t win a cool trip instead of the gym membership. Definitely cool memories for them though.”
This has happened before. In 2019, Wayne also offered to marry a same-sex couple named Felix and Roman. At that moment, Wayne claimed he got ordained during the commercial break and married the couple as the credits rolled.
