Overcoming Challenges Is His Middle Name

Undeniably, Wayne Brady: The Family Remix was a passion project for Wayne Brady. He wanted people to understand that families can operate in whatever way works best for the family members. He received some backlash for portraying his life with his ex-wife and her boyfriend (who was a former dancer for him). But, it was their goal to show a glimpse of a different family dynamic. However, Wayne admits that their current family workings didn’t always look like they do now. He confessed that it took him ten years of therapy to be “alright” with Jason. Now they see each other as “brothers” and continue to work together. The show gave him a way to share many of his life secrets with the world. His openness will continue as he moves forward with new shows.
