Bachelor Nation Star Shares Special Moment With Fans
One Bachelor Nation star is looking forward to the future. They revealed a special moment of being reunited with their father after he had served a lengthy 23-year prison term. The post talked about how forgiveness is a big part of who he wants to be in the future when he becomes a father himself. Who is it?
Former Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise contestant Andrew Spencer shared the incredible news that he has been reunited with his father after 23 years. Andrew’s dad spent the last 23 years in prison, leaving his family when Andrew was only 6 years old.
He went to Instagram to share several photos. A few are with his dad and there is even one of their family before he went to prison. Andrew also shared the story behind it.
He said,
“So this is my dad. he’s just finished serving his 23-year sentence. I was 6 when he went in, so you can say it’s been a while. Life happens to a lot of ppl and unfortunately kids are susceptible to that as well. So many with stories like mine I never went why me, I feel god has always had me through it all. I look at my life, and it could’ve been completely different. Thankful to my mom and friends/family who helped shape who I am.”
Andrew continued to say that anyone who is dealing with this or knows someone dealing with this type of situation should never stop showing up for them. One never knows how much value they are adding to someone’s life.
He also said his goal in life is to always be the best father ever when he has kids one day. He wants them to know that he has forgiveness in his heart. Andrew concluded saying he is looking forward to building a relationship with his dad.
