On Patrol: Live Clues Wilkes-Barre Returning To Show
It is not unusual for departments to take a break from On Patrol: Live and they have varying reasons for doing so. The fan favorite, Hazen Police Department takes regular breaks at the beginning and end of the year. They will often exit in spring so they can be with their families for baseball season. Many of their kids play ball so they want to be available to attend games and travel if needed. Then, in the winter, around November, they go on leave again. This time, it is so they can hunt. They are big hunters and want to take advantage of this.

Hazen has also noted that they are a small department so to film and achieve all they want to is not an easy feat. Yet, they set a goal return date and are back within reason. As for Wilkes-Barre, they announced they were leaving in November 2023. They did say that they wanted to be back very soon but that has not happened. Other departments have been added but they have been MIA. However, is there a chance they will be coming back? Fans saw a clue that is getting them excited as the prospect.

The On Patrol: Live social media announced that Officer Linsay Zarick from Wilkes-Barre would be in the studio this weekend, February 14th through 15th. Immediately, fans of the show got excited knowing this department had a presence on OPL again. They started a Reddit thread to chat about it and questioned if this meant the department was returning:
- That’s awesome I always liked her! I wonder if that’s a sign that Wilkes-Barre is coming back?
- Hopefully they’re coming back!
Hopeful Fans
On Patrol: Live fans were so excited at the prospect that Wilkes-Barre could be returning. They shared how much they missed seeing them and what they contributed to the series:
- Someone needs to replace brooksfield. Would make a lot of sense to have a Wilkes-Barre officer on the show and then make the announcement
- I miss this department… a lot!
- I hope so! Wilkes-Barre was pretty entertaining.
There was another reminder that on Saturday, February 15th on Twitter/X that Officer Linsay Zarick would be in the studio again. It would be the perfect ending to the weekend for her to announce her department was coming back but time will tell.
