Ryan Sutter Expresses Love & Devotion For Trista, Gives Update On Mom
Just last week, Ryan Sutter went to social media to try and seek help for his mom. He revealed that the medical system was failing his mom. She was going to have to wait a month for surgery that would fix a painful complication she was having that prevented her from attending physical therapy and even getting out of bed. Now, he went back to social media to give fans an update and also share how much love and devotion he has for his wife Trista. Keep reading to see what Ryan shared.
Ryan Sutter Updates Fans On His Mom
Ryan Sutter pleaded with followers and the medical staff in Colorado to help his mom. She has Parkinson’s Disease and also broke her femur which required a full hip replacement. In order to heal, vigorous physical therapy is a must.
He shared on Instagram that a simple routine surgery could fix her painful complication and let her get back to healing. She has been to urgent care multiple times and still, her physicians will not perform the surgery asap. Instead, she is being forced to wait a month for an opening. Ryan felt hopeless and unable to help his mother who was suffering.
Now, Ryan has an update. Back on Instagram, he shared that Trista spent a lot of time advocating for his mom. Along with a photo of Trista at her desk, he wrote, “This is my wife – my amazing wife – in her office, on the phone – Working tirelessly, inspired by your thoughts and prayers (thank you), advocating for my mom.”
She spoke with tons of representatives at the medical facility his mother uses. After numerous calls, she was able to find someone that could help. Now, his mother will be able to finally have some relief and her surgery today, Valentine’s Day.
He Gushes Over Bachelorette Trista
Ryan Sutter has never held back when it comes to how much he adores his wife and first-ever Bachelorette Trista. The day before Valentine’s Day, he made it a point to speak highly of her. He said,
“February 13th. The day before that famed day of love and devotion – Saint Valentine’s Day. But sometimes love and devotion can’t wait a day for recognition. Some things should be said now, must be said now. Some things don’t require a dedicated day of recognition or celebration or flowers or candy. Some things like…. Love and devotion.”
Ryan went on to explain how she helped his mother. He wrapped up his post by saying that Valentine’s Day is about romance but love is about so much more. He said,
“It is about being there, putting everything else aside, showing up, picking up, hurrying up and slowing down. It is empathy, sympathy and unconditional. It is selfless and honest – tiring but tireless. It is a bond, a kept promise, a daily ritual and commitment. Love is my wife and it is all that matters….”

Ryan’s Mom Commented On His Post
Ryan Sutter’s mom also commented on his post. She said she doesn’t even have the words to express how grateful she is for Trista helping her. She shared that Trista has the ability to open closed doors and she’s so thankful.
She thanked them both for their kindness, thoughtfulness and love.
Thanks to Trista and her tireless efforts, Ryan’s mom will soon be on her way to living a normal life again.
