‘On Patrol: Live’ Triggers Viewers To Turn On DoorDash, Why?

On Patrol: Live has triggered viewers to turn on DoorDash but what happened to cause this rebellion? The online food ordering company enables people to quickly get food delivered to their homes. So, what does the hit Reelz reality series have to do with DD? Keep reading for more details.
On Patrol: Live Triggers Viewers To Turn On DoorDash
Fans of On Patrol: Live take the reality series very seriously, so much so that they have viewing parties and cook special meals on Friday and Saturday nights. They then upload them to the show’s social media pages for fellow viewers to gush over and comment on. Pets even join in on the fun and it becomes a group participation event. The OPL viewers are a community and they rely on one another for their weekly entertainment and comradery. More so, they look at the hosts and the officers as extended family members.
When they go missing or are absent, there is an immediate call to action to find out where they are and when they will return. Hazen PD is the perfect example as they take breaks two or three times a year, usually around the holidays and spring hunting season. This is so they can be with their families as well as hunt plus they are a small department. Regardless, fans cannot wait for them to return, and with good reason as they are fan favorites. Now, there is another call to action by fans and that is to ditch DoorDash.
The food delivery company has been featured on the show many times but it seems the drivers are always in hot water. A Reddit thread was started to address how it might be time to stop utilizing the company based on who they employ. The OP wrote this:
- If I have learned anything from OPLive do not use Door dash. We have seen countless drivers arrestted..ticketed.. animals in car . Multiple people on car. And piss jugs. Of that gut couldn’t stop to use restroom sure didn’t wash his hands. Just my thoughts ..
Couldn’t Agree More
Fellow On Patrol: Live fans could not agree more and they believed it was time to say goodbye to DoorDash for a bevy of reasons. Not only from what they saw on the show but from personal experience:
- Even in a perfect world, it’s still the single worst way to get food. It’s expensive and the quality of the food takes a big hit in transit.
- Great comment was thinking the same the night of the Piss Jug..
- Oh, even without all the stuff on OPL, the many subreddits of doordash has plenty of horror stories to make you think twice about using it.
Looks like this is not going to bode well for the company and it goes beyond the hit reality series. Do you have any horror stories from the delivery company? Let us know and watch On Patrol: Live Fridays and Saturdays on Reelz.
