‘Southern Charm’ Craig Conover Defensive Over Paige DeSorbo Breakup
Southern Charm star, Craig Conover became very defensive when it came to his Paige DeSorbo breakup. The two have been split up for a few months now and he is just starting to really accept that it is done. That said, he still seems quite bitter over being broken up with. Craig Conover Defensive Over Paige DeSorbo Breakup
The writing has been on the wall for some time that Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo. They have been involved in a long-distance romance for three years with him in Charleston and her residing in New York. She is very much a city girl and loves her life there. As for Craig, he has been building his business and renovating his home, making it more family-friendly. His goals were for Paige to come live with him, get engaged, and start a family but that was not where Paige was at. She wanted to wait and Craig’s friends were concerned he was bending too much for her.
During the Thursday, February 6th episode of Southern Charm, Paige expressed that she had other priorities. Craig loved the idea of beekeeping and having this small farm life. Paige was not cut out for goats and buzzing bees, making homemade honey as a hobby. It was clear things were over then and there. On her Giggly Squad podcast, she claimed the breakup was mutual when it was not. Craig appeared on WWHL after this week’s episode and he seemed a tad defensive about the breakup.

As Andy Cohen was asking about whether or not Paige cheated, Craig Conover wanted nothing to do with the conversation. He put his hands up and reminded Andy that he is now the ex and does not want to be involved. This is no longer his person and he will not be a part of the drama, especially when it comes to her co-stars bashing him.
Summer House Drama
Paige DeSorbo’s Summer House co-star, Amanda Batula felt that Craig Conover should have stepped up against the cheating rumors. However, he maintains that he was broken up with and then Paige went on her podcast and claimed it was mutual when it was not. Finally, he feels that he has been sitting in it and grieving, doing his best in a horrible situation. There was also a segment when he stated that he got mixed signals from Paige. She told Craig it was over around Thanksgiving then allegedly wanted him to book a trip for them to Europe for New Year’s Eve. So, what did fans have to say?
- Two things can be true: Paige is allowed to break up with her boyfriend and Craig is allowed to be upset
- I mean I love Paige but I’m with Craig on this one. He’s still grieving. Defending her is the last thing he wants to do. Especially when she seemingly moved on quite fast. Poor Craigy is hurting
They were great at first and though he did say they did not want different things, Craig did note Paige just did not want him.
