Kris Jenner Reveals Shocking Connection To Menendez Brothers
Over the last several months, Kim Kardashian has spoken out about how she wants to help the Menendez brothers. They have been incarcerated for the murder of their parents for almost forty years but they may be getting a second chance. More has come out about the case and their backstory which has made Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón suggest a resentencing. That could mean they could be released at any point in time. Some fans have stated that Kim needs to stay out of this case. It has regained popularity over the last year.
Therefore, many have questioned why Kim was not doing more for Erik and Lyle Menendez before. Yet, she never mentioned that her family had a connection to the family. In fact, no one knew that she even knew the brothers or that they had been a presence until the Season 6 premiere of The Kardashians. That was when Kris Jenner nonchalantly shared how Erik Menendez used to play tennis with Robert Kardashian. Robert was the late infamous attorney who was part of OJ Simpson’s dream team and Kris’ first husband. Allegedly, Erik would come by and play some rounds with Robert back in the day.

According to People, Kim was discussing Ryan Murphy’s new show which was going to revolve around the Menendez brothers. Kim had appeared on American Horror Story and was going to be doing a show with him, as well. That was when Kris Jenner dropped the tennis bombshell as if it was common knowledge:
“Oh my God. You know I knew those guys? In the 80s?”
She stated she did not know the parents but did know the kids:
“No. I knew the kids because Erik used to come over and play tennis with your dad on the weekends.”

Kim Kardashian is studying to be a lawyer so she admits that she would have loved to talk to her dad about these cases. The Menendez brothers trial is very high on her list:
“The trial, I think, happened when I was, like, 13, so there were big cases that I would love to talk to my Dad about and so this was one of them. Now, being older and seeing it from a different lens, 35 years later, and knowing what I know now about the system, I just have a whole different outlook on it.”
Interestingly, Kris Jenner never mentioned this in the past given how many cases they have talked about. However, this is completely full circle that Kim has an interest in the case not realizing the brothers spent time at the house. When fans saw this clip, they were shocked:
