Acorn TV Announces ‘My Life Is Murder’ Season 5 Starring Lucy Lawless

Acorn TV Orders My Life Is Murder Season 5
On Friday, The Futon Critic reported that Acorn TV has announced My Life Is Murder Season 5. Lucy Lawless is back as former detective Alexa Crowe, who manages to solve the most unsolvable crimes. The new season will have eight episodes “featuring dangerous villains that only Alexa Crowe can catch, but as always, she’s bringing her friends and family along for the ride.”
That means Ebony Vagulans, who portrays Madison, her tech guru is back. Also, Joe Naufahu, who plays cafe owner Rueben, and Rawiri Jobe, who portrays Detective Harry is also returning. The announcement revealed that Madison is “stepping up and contributing her considerable technical skills to the investigations.” With each season, Madison has gone from using her hacking skills to doing some on-site sleuthing. As for Reuben, “he is always there to lend a helping hand.” However, Detective Harry “has been hiding a rather big secret.” This sounds like something that will certainly cause some chaos in Alexa’s life.
Meanwhile, Virgin River Sleuthers will be happy to learn that Martin Henderson is back as Alexa’s “bad boy brother Will.” He will drop “by with a dilemma of his own. “Additionally, in the series’ highest-stakes episode to date, Alexa’s beloved cat Chowder is caught up in a risky game of cat-and-mouse!”
Fans Were Concerned Lucy Lawless Series Was Canceled
When Acorn TV announced that they were bringing My Life Is Murder Season 5, fans were thrilled. Acorn TV had not shared whether they would continue this popular detective series. In some ways, Season 4 seemed like an ending, as Alexa Crowe faced the man who was responsible for her husband’s death.
However, now that this part of her life has been resolved, this allows for more new stories and impossible murders to solve. Will Alexa move on into the future? Fans will have to wait until Acorn TV drops the new episodes.
