Dr. Now currently has two reality TV shows, My 600-Lb Life from TLC and 6000-Lb Diaries from Lifetime. Both shows have the same concept, which is following the weight loss journeys of morbidly obese patients. The 13th season of My 600-Lb Life has already featured six patients.

The newest episode tells the story of Deshaun, who was struggling with his weight and being over-attached to his mother. This led to his lack of desire to work towards his goals. However, Dr. Now continues to give his patients the “tough love,” which often works and motivates them to lose weight.

Dr. Now Proves He’s Far From Retiring

Dr. Now recently took to IG Stories to share a clip of himself at the Texas Association for Bariatric Surgeons in Austin. The My 600-Lb Life star can be seen testing out a state-of-the-art surgery machine. According to Dr. Now, he was having so much fun testing out the robot, and it seems he’s interested in using it for his future surgeries.

Dr. Now’s appearance at the event also indicates that he’s far from retiring. One of his friends later appeared to give fans a quick tour before returning to his place, where he was still navigating the machine.

My 600-Lb Life: Dr. Now Thriving In His Business

Aside from being a bariatric surgeon, Dr. Now has also been thriving in his business. The My 600-Lb Life star sells merchandise from his TV show, such as clothing, keychains, and books. He also appreciates all the support he’s receiving and occasionally hosts a meet and greet at his office. His last event was held during the premiere of My 600-Lb Life Season 13. Furthermore, Dr. Now also hustles online by selling customized videos on Cameo.
