'Duck Dynasty' Si Robertson Update After Freak Accident

Si Robertson, also known as “Uncle Si,” became known to fans through his appearances on the Duck Dynasty series. However, the TV personality recently made headlines after suffering an accident during a hunting trip. Since then, fans were recently given an update concerning Uncle Si’s condition.

Uncle Si has worn many hats over the years. He has been a Vietnam War veteran, a reed maker for Duck Commander, and a podcast co-host. At one point, he even pursued a musical career with Si And The Si-cotics.

However, many fans know him best as a cast-member on Duck Dynasty, which lasted 11 seasons. Interestingly enough, Si actually started in a behind-the-scenes role, but soon went on to become a fan-favorite among viewers. He even got his own spinoff series, Going Si-Ral.

As previously reported, Si recently got caught up in a freak accident while out on a hunting trip. At the time, details were shared on the Duck Call Room podcast by Si’s co-hosts.

Si reportedly fell down a muddy hill while trying to leave a boat. Notably, he had fallen onto his own oxygen machine. As co-host Justin Martin shared, “Typical Silas Robertson, he’s in a dang hurry to get out of the boat and up the steep hill.”

As previously reported, fans were previously concerned about Si’s health after he appeared in a family photo for the holidays. At time time, he could be seen using his oxygen. For some fans, this was the first time they learned he used an oxygen machine.

During the fall, Si initially tried to downplay what happened. However, his co-stars grew concerned when they noticed something unusual. As Martin shared, “He was real quiet, another red flag… no stories.”

The party was then given a phone call from a family caretaker claiming that Si’s oxygen levels were low. He was then rushed to the emergency room. The YouTube release of the episode also shared Si in a hospital bed, connected to tubes.

Fortunately, doctors were not too concerned about the oxygen levels, attributing the situation to panic attacks. In an update shared by The U.S. Sun, Si was eventually discharged and allowed to return home.

Si is also notably expected to appear in an upcoming reboot series, Duck Dynasty: The Revival, set to air this upcoming summer. As previously reported, it is believed Si’s brother, Phil Robertson, will not return due to health concerns.
