Barbara Corcoran has been part of Shark Tank since its beginning. However, Corcoran has admitted she wasn’t too fond of one of her fellow “sharks” on the show. However, even after explaining why, she’s also described a more complication relationship with her co-stars.

Barbara Corcoran Has A Different Philosophy Than One Of Her Co-Stars

Shark Tank is an American adaptation of the British Dragons’ Den, which originated with Japan’s The Tigers of Money. In the series, five angel investors, dubbed “sharks” chose whether or not to invest in various start-ups.

Barbara Corcoran is one such “shark,” having been part of the show since its first season. Prior to this, she was known as the founder of The Corcoran Group, a real estate brokerage.

As noted by Meaww, Corcoran often clashes with Lori Greiner on the show. In addition, the publication highlighted the two having different philosophies.

For her part, Greiner is known for her QVC show, Clever & Unique Creations, even earning the moniker, the “Queen of QVC.” She served as a guest “shark” on Shark Tank during the third season, becoming part of the main panel the following season.

As the publication noted, when it comes to start-ups, Corcoran likes to focus on the person making the pitch and their ambitions. Greiner tends to focus more directly on the products, fitting her background with QVC.

In the past, Corcoran admitted to “hating” her co-star following an investment made by the Greiner. As she shared with People, “When she bought that business, I really didn’t mind it. I didn’t get it. I went, ‘Who would want a smiley face in the kitchen in bright yellow?'”

“But then I went to my sister’s house a month later, and she had those sponges all over the house, I hated Lori.”

Other Comments From Corcoran Paint Another Picture

Corcoran also shared another incident occurred following Greiner’s Readerest deal. “My uncle must have been 90 at the time, maybe even older. He called me all excited — he never calls me — [saying] ‘I got the craziest thing on Shark Tank.'”

“And it was her stupid glasses. I again hated Lori.”

However, as Meaww noted, Corcoran’s comments were tongue-in-cheek and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. In the past, she’s admitted to hanging out with her fellow “sharks” outside of the show and has even praised Greiner on social media.

On Instagram, Corcoran once shared a post where she described why she and her co-stars work well together. As she noted, “Boy do I love my fellow Sharks! After 16 years together, I can see exactly why we all click. Our dynamic is like a quirky, dysfunctional family.”

Corcoran also highlighted Greiner directly. As she shared, “Lori’s our middle child who keeps the peace and makes sure we all play nice, but she’s not afraid to pocket a toy or two when no one’s looking.”

In the end, Corcoran wrote, “I’m not sure where I fit in exactly, but I know one thing for sure. I’m beyond grateful to be a part of this wild, wonderful crew. They’re my family, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’m thankful for all the good stuff we share.”
