Terminated QVC Star Makes Shocking Return
A terminated QVC star took to Instagram a few days ago with some shocking news. She would be returning to the shopping network: And she would be returning soon. In response to her announcement, her followers wanted to be supportive of her big news. They, however, had some pretty mixed feelings about it.
Who is returning to the network? Furthermore, why do some of her followers have mixed feelings about it? Keep reading for the details.
Huge Layoffs
In March 2023, QVC and HSN laid off roughly 400 people to make some cutbacks. Among those terminated included a few fan favorites such as Dan Hughes and Carolyn Gracie. Carolyn’s termination was among the most shocking layoffs as she had been with the company for just shy of two decades.
“These decisions are not easy but are necessary in realigning how we manage the business and heighten focus on critical priorities.”
It was on March 1, 2023, that Carolyn took to social media with the bad news. She revealed she was among those 400 unlucky souls.

Viewers of OVC were outraged and thought they were making a huge mistake. Many vowed they were DONE giving their money to the shopping network.
Terminated QVC Star Makes Shocking Return
Now, 11 months after her termination, the QVC star returns with some shocking news. Carolyn Gracie would be returning to the shopping network. She told her followers she could not wait for her return. Furthermore, she was so excited to be back. She added February 13th at 9 A.M. was when viewers could expect her return.
Turns out, that wasn’t the only news she wanted to share with her followers. She had something she’d been working on. And, she was excited about it.

QVC Fans Have Mixed Feelings
Viewers of QVC are happy the terminated star gets to come back. They, however, believe she never should have left. Several told Carolyn Gracie they were happy for her. However, they would NOT spend any money with QVC. In fact, some asked if they could just make purchases through her website instead. Here’s what some frustrated fans had to say:
- “Wow. Happy for you but hate qvc and what they did to you and many others. They are NOT family as they say they are. Certainly did not show any compassion”
- “If we see something on QVC, are we able to purchase from your website instead? Many of us don’t want QVC to get any credit or $$$ for your hard work.”
Despite the negative feelings, most were thrilled by her return.
