‘Southern Charm’ Shep Rose Gives Craig & Austen Update

Southern Charm star, Shep Rose is giving an update on his friendship with Craig Conover and Austen Kroll. There has been a lot of tension between the three and it’s largely due to Craig. So, where do they all stand as of now? Keep reading for further details.

Shep Rose Gives Craig & Austen Friendship Update

There has been a lot of tension this season on Southern Charm between the cast and Craig Conover. Craig has gotten sober and he is no longer going out and partying. More so, he is in a stable relationship with Paige DeSorbo and has been for three years (they have since broken up). This has become his life and he is very focused on building a future for himself and his partner. Austen Kroll has struggled with the shifts in Craig’s behavior. He claimed that the two would make plans but Craig would back out at the last moment for ridiculous reasons.

Craig was also called out for lying when he claimed that Jarrett ‘JT’ Thomas called Miss Patricia Altschul a “b*tch.” Shep was there when it allegedly happened and he disputed that JT ever said anything wrong. Though Craig, Shep, and Austen were once very close, they have drifted apart. Craig has his own life and is in his own world and some fans feel that Austen and Shep are still living in immaturity. They want to party and never grow up. So, where do the three currently stand? Shep commented on a post and gave a huge update.

To that, Shep Rose responded that they had met up and it was amazing:

So, it seems like all of them have left their issues in the past and are moving forward. This was likely going to happen once Craig and Paige broke up as she seemed to be a wedge.

Fans Knew This Day Would Come

Southern Charm fans felt that this was going to happen simply because they never could see Shep Rose, Craig Conover, and Austen Kroll not being friends:

I feel like this trifecta’s friendship won’t ever really die out 100%. I think they set boundaries with each other and have times of distance due to differing lifestyles and things, but they are always going to maintain some sort of relationship imo (for good or bad lol)
Good. I feel like they need each other. They all have faults. And they do decent at trying to look out for each other.

Others questioned how genuine the friendship was or if it was made for television:

….the feud is totally scripted. They’re running out of steam.
So is the friendship. They don’t like each other that much. They don’t hate each other that much

Whatever the reason, it is good to know that Austen, Craig, and Shep are on good terms and have put all of the negativity behind them.
