Robbie Wolfe Pays Big For Rare Sign On American Pickers

American Pickers Season 26 has Mike Wolfe and his brother Robbie Wolfe hitting the road with Jersey Jon and Danielle Colby. However, without former star Frank Fritz, many fans have checked out on the new crew of the series. When Robbie Wolfe took center stage on a recent episode, fans mostly tuned out.

On the January 8 episode of the show (which was filmed last year), Robbie and Mike went to Florida to look at a series of antique gas station signs and memorabilia. The owner, known as “Judge,” was not interested in selling much of the collection. However, Robbie found one that he really wanted and wouldn’t take no for an answer.

It was a red, black, and yellow double-sided Moline sign. Robbie really wanted it because it had a connection to his hometown. “This is like the holy grail, this is the piece I have been looking for,” he said on the episode. Robbie offered “Judge” $12,500 for it, and they finally negotiated the price to $13,100.

It was another big win for Robbie Wolfe. It was not a big win for American Pickers.

American Pickers Ratings Continue To Struggle

The good news is that the episode had higher ratings than the previous week’s outing. 629,000 people tuned in to see Robbie buy this sign. Last week, American Pickers only had an audience of 595,000 viewers (via The U.S. Sun).

The only high point of the season came with the December 18 episode, which saw 760,000 viewers tune in. However, that was the highest viewership total of the season. This came after the October 30 episode, which only had a season-low 442,000 viewers. That episode was a disappointment since they had the DIY Delorean in that outing. This also came two weeks after only 463,000 people tuned in on October 16.

The ratings are significantly down from last season, which was also a low for the series. One episode of last season reached 996,000 viewers (February 28, 2024), and this season hasn’t come close to that number. The last time over a million people tuned in to American Pickers was when Frank Fritz appeared on the show in March 2020.
