‘WCTH’ Kevin McGarry And Kayla Wallace Relationship Timeline
Over five years ago, both Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry joined the Hallmark series WCTH for Season 6. Since then, the two have had their own sweet Hallmark romance. Now, they are married. What is the relationship timeline for this couple?
Kayla Wallace And Kevin McGarry Met On WCTH Set
Back during the WCTH Season 6 filming, Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry met on the Hallmark set. In 2018, Kayla was first seen in the series, portraying Fiona. The Landman star told People Magazine that things didn’t move that fast. “It was definitely stretched over many years that we were friends. But I think it’s pretty common that people meet on the set, at least in our industry.”
McGarry did recall that he noticed her right away and admits she said no when he asked her out the first time. However, it was Covid that helped this romance blossom. That was two years later! The When Calls The Heart set was one of the first to start production after the worldwide lockdown. They kept safe by working in “bubbles.” That means that groups of people hung together. Although Kayla and Kevin were not romantic partners in the series, they were in the same bubble. Therefore, that friendship blossomed.
Kevin And Kayla Went Instagram Official In 2020
About two years after they started to work together, the WCTH actors went Instagram official in November 2020. This was during the pandemic, just months after they started the work bubbles on the set. They shared polaroids of the two of them. This made Hearties very happy to see this couple get together on the set of their favorite show.
Two years later, the couple’s relationship advanced. Kevin proposed to Kayla, while on vacation with their When Calls The Heart costars and good friends, Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum. The couple got engaged in New York City, where the quartet enjoyed a holiday in The Big Apple.
WCTH Couple Has Secret Wedding
Although Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace were very public about their relationship and shared their engagement video on social media, they were very private about their wedding. It was not until the annual Hearties Homecoming in Vancouver in the fall that someone noted that Kevin was wearing a wedding ring. It was then that the WCTH star shared that the couple married.
