Dog The Bounty Hunter’s Secret

Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman is 71, born on February 2, 1953, in Denver Colorado. He is an American television personality, bounty hunter, and former bail bondsman. During an episode of Dr.Oz Duane admitted to the doctor, Mehmet Cengiz Oz, also known as Dr.Oz that he lied to his late wife about smoking. Duane told his late wife Beth that he had quit smoking because of his pulmonary embolism diagnosis. Dr.Oz asked him why he lied to her, and he replied with

“Well, I thought I could. Then I lasted about two hours before I needed a cigarette.”

To this day Duane has not quit his smoking habit and that puts him at a higher risk for a heart attack. His decision to keep smoking upset Dr.Oz since his health should be a top priority. Since Beth’s passing Duane has struggled physically and emotionally.

In 2019 Duane was having chest pains and went to a hospital only four months after Beth passed. Duane’s health continued to worsen as he admitted to losing 17 pounds in two weeks. It has been difficult for Duane to complete simple day-to-day tasks such as ordering from a menu at a restaurant with dim lights because he can’t see. As well as not having an appetite and having to force feed himself, eating ice has helped him but it is still a struggle.
