The Last Of Us Season 2 Trailer Hits Online
The Last of Us Season 2 trailer just hit online. It has some interesting information about what fans can expect from the second season. Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) stars in the series as Joel Miller. He is a man who lost his family to the zombie pandemic and suffers from his traumatic past. He meets Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a teen with the infection who never changed, meaning she might be the key to a cure.
He is tasked with getting her to a scientific laboratory safely so they can begin to experiment on her and find a cure for the infection. Along the way, they have to fight mutated humans and regular humans, who are just as dangerous and deadly as any monster.
On Monday, HBO released the new teaser and the release date for The Last of Us Season 2. “It doesn’t matter if you have a code like me; there are just some things everyone agrees are just wrong,” a voice says at the start. This is when the teaser shows Kaitlyn Dever as Abby walking through a corridor (via YouTube).
When Will The Last Of Us 2 Premiere?
After the introduction, there are no other lines delivered. However, there are quick cuts to scenes including Pedro Pascal (Joel), Bella Ramsey (Ellie), Tommy (Gabriel Luna), Maria (Rutina Wesley), and a ton of scary zombies attacking.
Ellie has a love interest in Dina (Isabela Merced). Viewers will find out what happened to Tommy and Maria’s baby. However, the big news is that the second season will occur five years after the first one ends. This is something that The Walking Dead also did.
“Joel and Ellie are drawn into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind,” the synopsis reads. Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) has also joined the cast for Season 2.
As for the premiere date, The Last of Us Season 2 premieres in April 2025.
