Yellowstone fans have been anxiously waiting to hear something about a possible sequel to the original series. The fans have seen the prequels arrive in 1883 and 1923. There is also a sequel coming called The Madison. However, there have also been rumors of a spinoff with Rip and Beth continuing their story.

Now, actress Kelly Reilly has commented on the possible spinoff for her character of Beth, which might be good news.

Did Kelly Reilly Confirm Yellowstone Spinoff Series?

Kelly Reilly, who played Beth Dutton throughout the entire Yellowstone run, had a perfect moment in the show’s finale. She got her revenge and sold back her family ranch to the Native American tribes. The finale also set up the possibility of a spinoff series.

Reilly posted an emotional Instagram post, saying how much she owed to the show and how much she will miss it. “Words cannot convey how I feel about the people I got to work and create with,” she wrote in the caption. “The support from the crew and the trust and dedication of the cast. The words I got to say and the woman I got to inhabit the past 7 years. It changed me. It lit me up. It challenged me in every way possible and I will forever be grateful for it” (via Instagram).

In the comments, someone wrote, “So is the rumor in the UK that you and Rip are making a spin off season not true? Whatever happens, I’ve loved every second of every episode in every season. You guys are all amazing.” That is when Kelly responded with one word: “True.”

What Will A Beth & Rip Yellowstone Spinoff Look Like?

At the end of Yellowstone, Beth buys her and Rip a new ranch 40 miles west of Dillon, Montana. This puts them out of reach of most developers and allows them to live in peace now that she has removed her evil brother from her life.

The rumors that Beth and Rip would get a spinoff series came days before the series finale. Paramount+ never confirmed anything, since that would spoil the fact that both characters lived. However, the rumors state that Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser were in talks and had possibly even finalized deals for the series.

“Taylor can figure out how to absolutely continue if he wants to. But that’s just Taylor being a brilliant writer. I’m not telling you that it is continuing, it’s just that he’s smart enough as a writer to do that if that’s something that he is passionate about,” Hauser previously said (via THR).
