Has Robyn Brown come up with strict rules in an attempt to make plural marriage work once again? She entered the Brown family as wife number four and everything seemed to crumble from there. So, what does the Sister Wives star believe could make it successful for another go-round? Keep reading for further details.

Robyn Brown’s Strict Rules To Make Plural Marriage Work

The Browns were doing okay when Sister Wives first began in 2010. They had a system that worked for the OG3, with each wife playing a different role. First wife, Meri Brown was known as the toothpuller and the kids appreciated her presence. Second wife, Janelle Brown loved working which made her grateful for third wife, Christine Brown Woolley. She was the happy homemaker who raised their dozen children and allowed Janelle the freedom she wanted. It was a well-oiled machine and then Robyn Brown was thrown into the mix after sixteen years of it being the OG3.

She brought her three children from her first marriage and the plural wife rotation changed. Husband Kody Brown was so smitten with his “new toy” that he spent more time with his new wife and his OG kids noticed this. They missed him and as the years and seasons went on, it was clear she was the love of his life. The other wives and children were alienated and the OG3 left the plural family. Kody was done with polygamy and asked Robyn to be monogamous with him.

That was not the life she signed up for especially after being in a monogamous marriage once before. Though they are allegedly not actively searching for a wife, Robyn Brown is not opposed. According to In Touch Weekly, the mother of five shared what it would take to enter plural marriage again. She dished about this on the Sunday, December 29th episode of Sister Wives:

“If I had a guarantee that it would be something that would be beneficial and we would have a positive successful experience, I would be interested in living plural marriage again. But I would need some sort of guarantee just because this experience of the family falling apart has been so traumatic, and not just for me and not just for Kody, but for our children and for all the children.”

Other Stipulations

Robyn Brown also shared that she would have to be an active member of their church to revisit plural marriage again. She feels that they go hand in hand but Kody Brown is done with polygamy. He believes he failed at it and admits he found his soulmate in Robyn. More so, he has talked horribly about his ex-wives. Knowing that his former third wife, Christine Brown Woolley was getting remarried, he repeatedly talks about how dreadful their wedding day was. This actually started when she left him. Kody reiterated how he did not want to be there when they tied the knot and has not stopped the bashing.

He has said he never should have married his first wife, Meri Brown but does not speak that ill of his union to second wife, Janelle Brown. Kody just says it was rushed. So, it is time to let the fantasy go and either be happy with Kody or be the fourth and final wife to depart.

Do you think Robyn should look for another wife or leave Kody and look for another family? Let us know and watch Sister Wives Sundays on TLC.
