CCB And Cameron Mathison Are Good Friends
Candace Cameron Bure has made a lot of Christmas movies over the past decade. However, Sweet Home Christmas was her first with Cameron Mathison. CCB admits they have tried to work together for years. Therefore, when she saw the script for Sweet Home Christmas, she knew this was the right movie for the pair. She stated that the idea of old friends to lovers is perfect for the two of them. “That feels very much like Cameron and me, and we’ve been friends for a really long time but never worked together.”
However, the original movie that they were going to make was Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells. As CCB went through the production elements of this movie, she realized this was not the right fit.
