Mountain Men just finished Season 13. Now that the season has ended, many fans wonder when Season 14 will return. The most recent season’s finale saw a lot of big things happen, including Jake Herak’s bear pursuit and Mary Meierotto building his cabin.

Here is what we know about Mountain Men Season 14.

When Will Mountain Men Return For Season 14

Mountain Men debuted on the HISTORY Channel in 2012. Since then, the show has produced 13 seasons and shows no signs of slowing down. When looking at the seasons, it is clear when most of the premiere dates would be, but it has changed somewhat since COVID-19.

The first 10 seasons all premiered in the summer. After the first season premiered on May 21, 2012, the next three started in June, then back to May for Season 5, and then back to June premiere dates for Seasons 6 through 10. However, after Season 10 aired in June 2021, things changed.

Season 11 aired from September 1, 2022, to December 8, 2022. Season 12 started on August 24, 2023, and ended on November 2, 2023. Finally, Season 13 premiered on October 3, 2024, and just aired its finale this week. This was the latest the show has ever premiered, making it puzzling what the schedule will look like in the future.

This will not be known until the HISTORY Channel makes an official announcement. It does seem that the May/June premiere dates are a thing of the past. Since the series tapes a season’s worth of footage before it hits the air, don’t expect Season 14 to arrive until the end of 2025, likely another September or October premiere date.

What To Expect From Mountain Men Season 14

Mountain Men Season 14 will likely follow storylines similar to those from Season 13. To recap the season, things got a little crazy for all the characters on the reality TV show this past season.

In the Season 13 finale, Jake Herak saw the mountain lions retreating and the black bears coming out of hibernation. Jake then realized he had to target the bears to protect himself in his Montana home. In the finale, Jake’s dogs trapped a black bear in the mountains, and it seemed the black bear retreated into its den. This allowed him to protect his livestock and the farmers in the area.

Marty Meierotto and his friend Dave also had a tough time in the finale, as they had been hauling supplies up the mountain to build a new cabin. The two men had already built a dozen cabins, so they knew what they were doing. However, they needed to carry the supplies across 100 miles of rough terrain, racing against the weather.

These stories and more should be part of Mountain Men Season 14 when it finally returns. Let us know what you want to see in the next season in the comments below.
