Mama June & Justin Have Fans Worried In Latest NYC Trip Pics
Mama June Shannon and Justin Stroud have fans and followers worried in their latest New York City vacation photos. They took June’s granddaughter, Kaitlyn Shannon on the trip but what was so worrisome? Keep reading for more details and to see the snaps.
Mama June & Justin Worry Fans
Fans have long questioned Mama June and Justin Stroud’s sobriety. It even came into question during the custody case for Anna Cardwell’s eldest child, Kaitlyn Shannon. June and Anna’s ex-husband, Michael Cardwell both fought for Kaitlyn. She requested his Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) records as she claimed he was violent toward Anna and her kids. Yet, June’s drug testing history was also brought in and it seems to have come back clean as she was granted custody. Anna wanted her husband, Eldridge Toney to be Kaitlyn’s guardian which June was not receptive to. Sadly, she passed before anything was filed thus a court battle ensued.
Fans and followers of June and her husband, Justin have felt they were not honest about their sobriety. They have watched their live videos on social media and, at times, June has looked incredibly unhealthy. Her face was red and splotchy, her lips chapped, and it was disturbing. Then, Justin would go off on rage-filled tangents making fans question what was wrong with him. Over the last several months, June has taken her health very seriously and started weight loss drugs. She wanted to lose weight as fast as possible but stay on a good path.

Unfortunately, her latest vacation pics have fans very concerned. As of September 2024, Mama June had lost 65 pounds but in her Instagram snaps, she and Justin looked overly thin. Fans immediately headed to the comments to express their distress over what they saw:

- It’s giving me drug use vibes!😫
- He looks like he is withering away.. what’s going on?
- Your boy looks like he’s on that stuff. I sincerely hope that’s not the case and he’s been juicing!
Maybe It’s Something Else
Even though fans felt that Mama June and Justin Stroud were going down a bad road, others came to their defense. They felt that June had just gone through the hardest year of her life, losing her daughter, Anna Cardwell. Therefore, she was exhausted and doing the best that she could with the hand that she was dealt. However, others wondered if they were just tired from traveling as they were heading to Portland and California, all by train.
