Cobra Kai is almost ready to end its run. After several great seasons, the last part of the show’s final season premieres in February, and it will be time to say goodbye to the cast and crew of the beloved Karate Kid spinoff series. A short teaser trailer now promises a “legacy that will live forever.”

Here is a look at the new teaser and what fans can expect from the last part of the show’s final season.

Cobra Kai Final Teaser Trailer Hits For Netflix

The teaser trailer for Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 3, just arrived from Netflix. The teaser is only 30 seconds long, but it does show a montage of the cast and then the sound of people chanting “Cobra Kai.” There is also a voiceover from the main stars, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka.

“Four decades of history, all leading to this moment,” Macchio said in the teaser (via YouTube). “Ever since we were kids, you cheered us on, had our backs,” Zabka said. “What do we have to show for it?” Macchio answered, “A legacy that will live forever.” This led Zabka to say, “This may be the end.” They both finished by saying, “But Cobra Kai never dies.”

Cobra Kai is the continuation of the story started in the Karate Kid movies. It brings Zabka’s Johnny Lawrence back and turns the villain from the first movie into a reluctant hero and sensai in his own right. The series also brings back Daniel LaRusso, the hero of the movies, as a troubled hero who is unsure whether he can trust his old enemy.

It then brought back people from almost every movie in the franchise, including Martin Kove as the evil John Kreese and Thomas Ian Griffith as the even more evil Terry Silver. The series started on the now-defunct YouTube Red and then moved to Netflix when YouTube stopped promoting original shows on its service. The final sixth season ended up split into three parts.

The final episodes hit the streaming service on  February 13, 2025.

There Is A New Karate Kid Movie Coming Too

Fans who visited the movie theater over the holidays likely saw the first trailers for the upcoming new Karate Kid movie. This movie will bring Daniel LaRusso in contact with Jackie Chan’s Mr. Han from the 2010 Karate Kid reboot. The two of them will team up to train a new young man in need of help.

However, from all accounts, this movie will not connect to Cobra Kai. While both the TV show and the upcoming movie are both Karate Kid sequels, Macchio said that they are in “different worlds,” meaning they each show a possible future from the original movie but don’t connect with each other.

What are your thoughts on the final episodes of Cobra Kai coming in 2025? Are you ready for the end, or are you disappointed it is ending? Let us know in the comments below.
