How Is Lawrence Saint-Victor Tied To ‘Beyond The Gates’?
CBS is set to debut Beyond the Gates, one of the first new daytime soap operas to debut on a major network in decades. In fact, the upcoming soap is already notable for a variety of reasons. One prominent soap star, Lawrence Saint-Victor, might already have a connection to the upcoming series.
Lawrence Saint-Victor Has Had A Long Career In Soaps
Saint-Victor has had a prominent career in soap operas over the years. From 2006 to 2009, he portrayed Remy Boudreau on Guiding Light
Saint-Victor joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as Carter Walton in 2013. By 2020, he became a series regular. The following year he would also start writing scripts for the series.
According to Soap Central, the actor might also have a connection to another upcoming soap, Beyond the Gates. Notably, the upcoming soap is one of the first daytime television soaps to have a prominently African-American cast since Generations in 1989.
Beyond the Gates will take place in Fairmont Estates, an affluent gated community within the Maryland and Washington, D.C. area. At the center of it all is the prominent Dupree family.
The publication highlighted Saint-Victor’s possible connection to the series through his Guiding Light character, Remy Boudreau.
The publication highlight the character as a “very talented musician.” He was also known to have “chased romance while navigating family drama and personal challenges.”
The actor recently shared some of his favorite memories on Guiding Light on his own Instagram page. He also shared a favorite scene of his from the soap. Notably, the clip was a repost from the @guidinglightcbs Instagram page.
The Actor’s Connection Comes From One Of His First Big Roles
As Saint-Victor shared in the post, “This is one of my favorite episodes that I ever shot at Guiding Light!! Having all the Boudreau’s together was really special. I loved working with @karlamose @yvonnakopaczwright @kim_brockington @tyracolar @montel_williams so much!!!”
In the scene, the character Christina, played by Karla Mosley. reveals her marriage to Remy to his family. Viewers soon see each of the family members react to the news.

Notably, Mosley also will star in Beyond the Gates as Dani Dupree. Notably, she also played Maya Avant on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Notably, Mosley herself also shared her reaction to the clip in the comments. As she wrote, “The best! Aw, baby KCM and LSV – with the greatest fam. Such a great memory!!!”
Beyond the Gates is set to premiere on February 24, 2025 on CBS. It will also stream on Paramount+.
