Gerry Turner recently revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, he has Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia. This is a bone marrow cancer. Fans have been sending their condolences to Gerry as he goes through this difficult time. However, he said this diagnosis was a part of the reason he and Theresa Nist split. She denied these claims and said a big reason was the distance. They could not decide if they would reside in Gerry or Theresa’s home. The two split after only three months of marriage. This was shocking for fans to hear.

Fans Slam Him For Wants In A Wife

Fans are not happy with Gerry. He has said he is looking for someone who accepts him after this diagnosis. However, some fans feel as though he is looking for more of a “caregiver” than a “partner”. Yikes.

I hope I’m wrong but what i’m hearing is he wants a woman who will step up to the plate and be a full time caregiver. This is just the reality society and men expect women to care for ailing male partners.
He doesn’t want a companion, he wants a caregiver. A woman deserves to be more than that.
