Michael Strahan Updates His Future On ‘The $100,000 Pyramid’

Michael Strahan has a lot of things taking up his time. He has his morning gig as a Good Morning America host. He works on weekends as an analyst for the NFL on FOX. However, one more gig he has is one people don’t talk about as much. He is also the host of the game show The $100,000 Pyramid. He recently spoke about his future on that game show.
Here is what Strahan had to say about his game show gig.
Michael Strahan Talks $100,000 Pyramid Future
Michael Strahan began hosting The $100,000 Pyramid in 2016 and has been on the show for seven seasons now. While people don’t talk about it as much as they do Good Morning America or the NFL on FOX, it is still one of his longer-lasting gigs, and one that many fans love.

Michael Strahan will return to The $100,000 Pyramid as the host for Season 8. He has also let fans know that the casting for the show’s next season is still ongoing. “Team up with celebrities to put your word association skills to the test in a quest to win big money and prizes!” Strahan said about the opportunity.
The show will return to ABC on Sunday, March 9, 2025 (via Instagram). Anyone who wants to try out can find more information on the Casting Pyramid website. All people who try out must be 21 or older and a legal resident of the United States. The application is a long one, but there are still a few weeks before the final applications will be accepted.
What Is The $100,000 Pyramid?
For younger fans unfamiliar with The $100,000 Pyramid, the game show is a reboot of a classic game show from years past. The original show was called The $10,000 Pyramid, and the total money kept rising throughout the years.

The iconic Dick Clark was the original game show host when it was The $10,000 Pyramid on CBS and ABC. He continued as it became The $20,000 Pyramid (on ABC), The $50,000 Pyramid (syndicated), and finally, The $100,000 Pyramid (also syndicated) in 1985.
The show was canceled in 1991 before a revival in 2004 and 2012. The 2016 revival with Michael Strahan is the only one that actually stuck. In all, there have been 4,627 episodes.
In each episode, a player teams up with a celebrity, and each will give clues to get the other to guess the word written on the card. As they guess right, they move up the pyramid, which has more money on each level until they reach the top and reach $100,000.
