Pawn Stars fans have long known that Rick Harrison is not always the most honest person. The reality TV star has made his name running his pawn shop and often undercutting sellers to ensure he makes the biggest profit. However, he is also not averse to leading someone to get what he wants.

Here is what Rick did recently, which has many fans blasting the star for acting like he was interested in a deal he never intended to close.

Rick Harrison Leads On Seller To Get A Thrill-Ride Experience

Rick Harrison has a love for some very interesting things that come into his pawn shop. He loves guns and canons, and if any of them come into his store, he will almost always convince the sellers to let him shoot them, even if he really doesn’t plan to buy them.

Rick also loves fast cars, which he came across in the episode that many fans are referencing with their latest complaints. The fans feel Rick wants to drive and play with the cars, even if he doesn’t want to buy them. However, he has to lead on the sellers to get these opportunities.

The HISTORY Channel recently shared a video on its social media pages showing Rick getting a chance to drive a fast car. However, he never intended to buy the car; he just made the person think he was interested so he could drive it.

A seller brought in a custom dragster, hoping to sell it for $30,000. Rick, Corey, and Chumlee were all at the shop and called in an expert to determine its value and possible saleability. Drag racing is still very popular in Las Vegas, where Rick’s shop is located, so it was a perfect spot to pawn it off.

The seller said he paid $60,000 to build the car. He wanted to sell it and the trailer for $30,000. The expert said getting the car up to code might take up to $7,000.

Rick Harrison Gets To Drive The Car On Pawn Stars

Rick Harrison wanted to drive the dragster at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He said it was “built just for racing” and could go 190 miles per hour. He got the chance to drive the car and had a blast. However, after he finished, he said he couldn’t make an offer the seller would accept.

Viewers chimed in with their thoughts on Rick Harrison leading on people just so he can play with what they are selling (via YouTube):

  • “Rick lost out on that deal….there was money to be made. Without any recertification.”

  1. idk WHY, PEOPLE WOULD GO TO A PAWN SHOP WITH SUCH EXPENSIVE ITEMS AND THINK THEY’RE GONNA GET THE BEST DEAL.GONNA. THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS. SELLING IT PRIVATELY IS ALWAYS THE BEST ROUTE. I’M A FAN OF THE SHOW, BUT AFTER SEEING THIS, EVER TIME I WATCH IT WILL BE WITH A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE OF RICK.
