Struggling Mama June Shares Pain, Begs Fans To Show Anna Love
Struggling Mama June Shannon is sharing her pain and is begging fans to show her late daughter some love. December 9th, 2024 was the first anniversary of Anna Cardwell’s passing. This has been immensely hard for the entire family so June is asking for one thing from her followers. Keep reading for more details.
Mama June Shares Pain On Anniversary Of Anna’s Death
For many years, Anna Cardwell was estranged from her family. She lived a very private life with her partner, Eldridge Toney, and two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kylee. Anna appeared on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo when she was a pregnant teen and delivered her firstborn, Kaitlyn. She then married Michael Cardwell and when the show ended, sued Mama June and TLC for unpaid wages. Allegedly, June promised Anna a home and such if she appeared on Honey Boo Boo but that never happened. She did keep in touch with her sisters and then, after many years apart, Anna showed up on Family Crisis.
No one understood what was going on and after June’s Florida wedding to Justin Stroud, Anna revealed she had stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. That was when everyone banded together to take care of her. June left Alabama and moved to Georgia and they seemed to work as a team. It was heartbreaking to watch but she was surrounded by love when she passed. Now, the year anniversary has arrived and June shared a message on her Instagram. Along with a Reel of photos, June asked fans to show Anna’s page some love as a way to keep her memory alive.

These photos included Anna bravely having the family shave her head, interview bites from the show, her being silly throughout the years, sentimental moments, and more. Mama June took fans on a trip down memory lane and it was both beautiful and emotional. It was hard to believe that everything happened so fast, Anna was so strong, and now, a year has passed without her.
Fans Are Broken For The Family
After seeing Mama June’s sweet tribute to Anna Cardwell, fans and followers were overcome. Of course, some were desperate to know when Season 7 of Family Crisis was coming out. Yet, most just broke in half for the family and their loss of Anna:
