‘Duck Dynasty’ Sadie Thanks Fans Following Phil’s Diagnosis

Phil Robertson’s son Jase recently shared that the Duck Dynasty patriarch was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Phil’s granddaughter Sadie recently opened up about the news in a post shared on social media.

Sadie Robertson Huff Shared A Special Photo Of ‘Papaw’ Phil

Jase recently talked about Phil’s diagnosis during an episode of the podcast, “Unashamed with the Robertson Family.” At the time, he shared that a type of blood disease was causing problems for his father.

Sadie Robertson Huff is Phil’s granddaughter and the daughter of Phil’s son Willie. She recently opened up about the news concerning her grandfather with fans on Instagram.

As Sadie noted, “Seeing all of the articles go out yesterday about my grandpa’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis has kept my tears flowing. Something about it being public makes it even more real.”

Sadie continued that this is the drawback to being part of such a public family. However, she admitted, “I’m genuinely so thankful my family chose to make our life public because of how incredible it is that so many people know my grandpa! Y’all got to see the way he lived his life!”

Sadie Revealed Why She Just Started Rewatching Duck Dynasty

Thanks to Duck Dynasty, Sadie noted that a lot of people got to know and love her grandfather. “I’m so glad that so many people have been able to learn from his faith and his love for his family.”

Sadie continued, “I’m so proud to be his granddaughter. She also shared she was “so proud to have learned how to love the word, honor the word, and teach the word from him.”

The post was paired with an image of Sadie and her grandfather in a boat. She shared, “I wanted to post this picture of me literally looking up to Papaw Phil because as ‘impressive’ as his ministry has become in that he has spoken to millions and millions. The most impressionable thing to me was how he ministered to every single person who stepped in his door and sat on the couch beside his iconic chair.”

As she finished the post, Sadie admitted, “I’ve never rewatched Duck Dynasty until now, and [it’s] really special in a whole new way to me.” She ended the post thanking fans for their prayers.

In addition to appearing as herself on Duck Dynasty, Sadie has also made a name for herself as an actress, businesswoman, and podcast hostess. She also notably competed on Dancing with the Stars back in 2014.

As previously reported, Duck Dynasty is also set to be rebooted. The original A&E series lasted from 2012 to 2017.
