Diddy Accuser Revealed To Be Ex-Wife Of NHL Hockey Star
While Sean “Diddy” Combs awaits his trial for s*x trafficking charges, there are dozens of lawsuits being filed against him by the alleged victims. All these lawsuits are mostly anonymous to protect the women’s identities. However, court records just revealed the name of one of the accusers.
Here is what you need to know about the first named Diddy accuser and who the woman is.
Diddy Accuser Is Ex-Wife Of NHL Star
While most of the alleged victims remain anonymous for their protection, one name has been revealed. This happened thanks to the requirement that she reveal her identity to proceed with the case. The accuser is named Anna Kane.
Photos of Diddy with Anna Kane have been leaked from one of his parties (via TMZ), but it is unclear if this was a Freak-Off or a regular Combs’ party. Regardless, the court documents reveal that she was 17 at the time of the parties, which makes her a minor in the eyes of the law.
The court required Anna to reveal her identity if she wanted to continue the lawsuit, so she agreed. Anna is the ex-wife of NHL hockey star Evander Kane. Kane played for several hockey teams, including the Buffalo Sabres and San Jose Sharks. He was also a gold medal winner for Canada. He has been playing for the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL since 2021.
Kane and Anna have one daughter. Evander has been accused of no wrongdoing. The events with Sean Combs happened when Anna was a teenager, 10 years before she married Evander in 2018. The two divorced in 2021.
Anna Kane Explains Why She Wanted Anonymity Against Diddy
Anna Kane said that she wanted to find justice for what allegedly happened to her as a teenager. According to Kane, “I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager. Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated” (via Us Weekly).

This happened after Combs’ attorneys tried to get the lawsuit dismissed unless Anna revealed her identity. They said they needed her identity to defend Combs against her accusations. Anna claims she went to New York City to meet Combs at a recording studio when she was 17 (and still a high school junior). While there, she alleged they gave her drugs and alcohol and then s*xually assaulted her in a bathroom.
“I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” Combs said. “Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
